At 1993 the company was classified as ” First Grade “, after 2003 events and as the changing of Iraq Economics from the Socialism to Open market frame, our company decided to renew the Company Structure and System to rise the Technical and Administrative levels, later the Company granted the “ Excellent Grade “ at 2016 due to the successful projects, there are only few Iraqi companies that hold this grade . To keep up the progress in the Managing system of the company , we started a new era by getting the “ ISO Certificates “ and “ D&B classification ” , the late confirm that the Company is satisfying the requirements of the US Federal government for contracts or grants.
In order to present part of the Capabilities of Al-Hamid for General Contracting and Trading Company Ltd in the last ten years, the following review explains the most important aspects of the company’s work and its operational interests:

Hospitals such as the establishment of Fallujah General Hospital (Turnkey Project) , the rehabilitation of Ramadi Hospital for Women and Children , rehabilitation of Ramadi Teaching Hospital, Emergency Hospital in Mosul , Oncology Hospital in Mosul and Three COVID-19 Hospitals in Baghdad , Mosul & Basrah.

Sewage Projects such as the Design, Procurements and Implementation of the Al-Mahmodiyah Sewer project, Design, Procurement and Implementation of the Al-Manfahan Sewage treatment plant in the Holy Governorate of Karbala, the implementation of Public Sewage Networks in Al-Qadisiyah Governorate, Jubail Pump Station (Falluja) and many other projects in Al-Najaf.

Water Treatment such as the Procurement and Implementation project of (15) Standard Water Treatment Units in Babil Governorate with a capacity (200 m3/hr) for each , Rehabilitation of Al-Hadhaba WTP & Al-Dughayma WTP ( both in Al-Anbar Province ).

General Buildings & Roads such as the project of establishing the Modern Village in Diwaniyah which consist of ( 100 ) Residential Houses with all the Service buildings in the village , the project of the First Residential complex in Mosul Dam that contains (20) Houses , the project of the Second residential complex in Mosul Dam that contains (20) Houses with all Service buildings and the project of the Modern Village in Qurna / Basra with (110) Residential.

Residential Complexes Roads such as the rehabilitation of the Buildings of the Ministry of Planning , the construction of Buildings in Diyala University, buildings of Headquarters of the 4th Border Brigade in Al-Nakheib, the building of the Directorate of Civil Defense in Al-Dhulueya, the Building of the Water Studies and Research Center in Sulaimaniyah, a Primary and High Schools Buildings in the district of Al-Shanafiyah, the project of buildings of the Faculty of Education and Dormitory Buildings in al-Qaim district, Rebuilding of Al-Nuaman Secondary School, Sports fields and Police Stations, Seven Schools in Al-Hamza city ( Dewaniyah Province ) in addition to Several Service and Public buildings with the implementation of several internal and external roads in several locations .

Irrigation systems & Bridges such as the project of Procurement and implementation of Water Regulating Gates and the Five Hydraulic Regulators on the Euphrates River and the project to build Three Car Bridges on the Euphrates River in Basra province.

Al-Fallujah Hospital

Specialized Engineering such as the Procurement and implementation of the Bakery Factory Complex for the Ministry of Commerce in Diyala province, as well as the Construction of Fourteen Standard Cold stores spread over Ten Iraqi provinces, the Procurement and implementation of a Modern Fuel Station in Diwaniyah province and the Installation of New sets of Elevator for both of Baghdad International Airport and Basra International Airport with a total number of (28) elevators.

Projects before 2003:

Al-Hamid Contracting and General Trading Co., Ltd. was officially established under the Companies Law No. (21) at 1997 where the registration of Companies and Bureaus before that year was done through the Registrar of Companies only and the company was working since 1975 under the name of Al-Hamid Contracting Bureau, the company has dozens of Projects since 1975 until 2003 We will review later number of these projects and activities with the inability to provide photos for projects due to the prohibition of photography and the lack of interest in the aspects of documentation at that time:
1- The establishment of the Modern Village within the project of localization of Desert in Al-Habariya / Anbar province , the work includes the establishment of (40) Residential houses, Health care Center, Primary School , Police Station with Electricity and Water networks،
2- The Construction work of H2 Air Base (Saad Air Base) in Anbar province.
3- The Implementation of Several Schools in Baghdad, and other Provinces during the years (1975 – 1980)
4- Earthworks for Haditha Dam project during 1982 and 1983
5- Roads paving during years (1977-1981) in Alanbar, Najaf & Babil provinces.
6- Project of Developing Border Posts in Alanbar, Alnajaf and Almuthana provinces.
7- Lining of Water channels in Baladrooz / Diyala Provence with white rocks during 1984.
8- Construction of (44 km) length of Earthen Dam between Baghdad – Suwayra at 1985
